GHOST HUNTING 101
Heres some very important tips for conducting a ghost hunt.
PERMISSION
It is always very important to get permission from the owner of the property site
of the pace you plan on conducting a ghost hunt.
If for some reason you cant get contact the owner
contact your local police dept. they will usually help you
DONT HUNT ALONE
No were not saying your some scaredy cat but common sense should tell you
to never ghost hunt alone it can be very frightening to even a well experienced
paranormal researcher and not to mention the old' saying "safety in numbers"
EQUIPMENT
Heres some equipment most paranormal researchers use.
CAMERA The most commonly used camera is a digital camera because the results are immediate
as long as a camera has a flash most any will do.
there has been ghosts caught on film without a flash but that's very rare.
2-WAY RADIOSIts really important to stay in touch with your team at all times during a investigation
always keep these on hand!
DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER
Digital voice recorders are a great way to catch evps without static
SECURICTY CAMERAS
Great for watching a room without having to be in it
the best cameras to use are infrared.
They make it possible to see whats moving in a darkened room
including orbs.
CAMCORDER
A fun addition to any ghost hunter
maybe you will be able to capture some video
of paranormal activity
NO-CONTACT THERMOMETER
A great tool for measuring variances in temperature
temperatures in most paranormal hot spots are cold
this is also known as the mini-temp.
OTHER HELPFUL INFO.
- The best times to investigate are from 9 Pm to 6 am Because these are psychic hours
But anytime can give results
- Always check out the area in the daytime so that your familiar with the area look for obstacles that you
may not see in the dark
- Have a first aid kit ready you never know what you can trip on in the dark also include a flashlight with fresh batteries we prefer the "mag light" brand
